The ONE TECH Athletic Boosters presented Eastern Tech Principal, Dr. Kimberly Culbertson, a check for $5,000 from the TMobile FN5GL contest at the halftime of the last week’s Homecoming Football Game.
Eastern Tech is part of a Friday Night 5G Lights national contest presented T-Mobile. Tech was one of 1,000 schools to win $5,000, just for applying and posting on social media about the contest.
T-Mobile is giving away over $8.4M in total prizes for the 2026 season, including one grand prize winner of a $1M for a home field upgrade.
Eastern Tech is trying to become one of 40 Division Finalists and will receive more cash the further they advance. The 40 Division Finalists will be announced on Oct. 8.
“ONE TECH hopes to hear even better news this week as they look to advance as a Division Winner in the contest and a chance to win the grand prize of $1m for a field upgrade! Stay tuned,” said a statement from the Booster Club.
