The Maryland Transportation Authority announces that emergency roadwork will temporarily close the Inner Loop of I-695 at the Curtis Creek Drawbridge next weekend.
The detour will direct motorists to Quarantine Road (Exit 1), to Hawkins Point Road, to Pennington Avenue, to Ordnance Road, to northbound MD 10, to Inner Loop I-695.
Drivers are encouraged to use I-895 or I-95 as alternate routes.
Weather permitting, the Inner Loop of I-695 will be closed Friday, January 20, at 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21.
Crews will be performing essential emergency work on span locks.
