Parkville Boys Basketball team was trying to win their second straight Baltimore County Championship but fell short to New Town 61 to 53 at home on Tuesday evening.

Parkville was trying to complete another perfect season before going into the playoffs. The team is now 22-1 going into the playoffs.

Despite the loss, Parkville will still start the playoffs as a number one seed in the 4A playoffs. They will begin play on Tuesday, Feb. 28 as they will host the winner of Catonsville and Perry Hall.

The Knight lost in the 4A State Semifinals to Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 2022. Parkville made it to the state semifinals in 2020 but the season ended when the COVID pandemic began.

There were no basketball playoffs in 2021 because of COVID.
