Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company reported that units responded to the Eastern Landfill for a garbage truck on fire. The fire was reported on Wednesday, Sept. 7 around 1 p.m. The fire was contained by crews within an hour after it started. The landfill is located in White Marsh on Days Cove Road.

Baltimore County Police fire investigators have identified the victim of the July 27 fatal automobile fire on Contractors Road in Rosedale. The victim is Linzie Dillard Bonds II, 68, of Aberdeen, Maryland. The cause and manner of death are pending at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
