The AVENUE at White Marsh announced that it has canceled its holiday parade for Saturday morning because of rain. It was scheduled for a 10 a.m. start.
The shopping center released a statement on Thursday that the parade would go on rain or shine despite the forecast of rain.
Their Facebook page said on Saturday morning there was still plans to go ahead with the parade even though 16 participants have canceled but finally made the call to cancel on Saturday morning around 8 a.m.
The Dundalk Christmas Parade was canceled on Thursday because of the rain. That event was scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday.
